사이트 운영 이야기가 나와서 제안해봅니다
지난번에 운영자님께서 사이트 운영에 큰 적자를 감수하고 있다는
댓글을 보고 나서 든 생각입니다.
무엇보다 운영상 가장 소모가 큰 부분은 서버 용량 관리일 것입니다.
그래서 영상 게시물에만 비추천 버튼을 추가하여서 비추천이 일정 이상 되는 영상은 삭제하는 건 어떨까요.
혹은 조회수가 낮은 영상들을 투표에 올려서 일정 수 이상 득표하지 못하면 삭제를 하는 방법도 있을테고요.
물론 여기서 요청 영상은 제외해야겠지요.
발매되는 모든 영상이 다 올라오던 시기에도 보는 재미가 있었지만,
개인적으로는 지금처럼 요청 영상이나 선별된 몇 개의 신작이 올라오는 편이 더 깔끔하고 좋다고 생각합니다.
그런 면에 있어서 기존 게시물들을 정리하는 것도 장기적으로는 좋은 선택일 수 있겠다는 생각이 들었습니다.
사용자들에게 역시 취향에 꼭 들어맞지 않아도 찾아보고 평가하는 재미를 줄 수 있을 것 같고요.
혹시 저의 작은 아이디어가 운영에 도움이 될 수도 있지 않을까 싶어서
한참 생각하다 조심스레 제안해봅니다.
After I saw the comments about a big deficit for managing this site,
I've thought some ideas.
The biggest problem for the loss may be caused by the server capacity.
So how about adding a decommendation button?
If some video posts get a certain number of decommendations, for example, then delete the videos.
Or let's make a poll page for video posts with low views, and you can delete videos that people don't vote.
Of course, the requested videos would be excluded.
The huge database of this site can be a good characteristic,
but I feel it has been neater and better after operating with requested videos and some selected new videos.
So organizing and taking away existing posts could be a good option in the long run, I think.
It can be also fun for users to find and evaluate videos, even if it doesn't fit their tastes.
It may not fit the manager's operation policy,
and I just carefully suggest it for hope that I come here for a long time.
